Haha, I was honestly just kidding - no need to bring up the old game! :) (Just on the note of sounds, I think the music is the same but nothing else that I notice.)

Another games night would be great. Voluntary work though? That might be a stretch... ;-)

Its hard not to think about your GameMaker game when we were doing this - I still love your game and I've imported it into the new software :-) I'm not sure if Ricahrd used any of your sounds - let me know if you noticed anything. I must get a video of your original game and put it up.
GameMaker seems to be making a bit of a comeback with the HTML5 stuff and deployment to devices - I hope it does well.

We'll have to get another games night organised to catch up with everyone again. Maybe tempt you into some voluntary game dev research ;-)

Thanks for your comment Joseph. We decided that it would be better, for our purposes, if the students would log into the Moodle site first. When they click on the link for the game (taking them to the constellations) we pickup their moodle userid in code and automatically use this in the menu/game to pick up their moodle stats and power the system (high scores are stored in a separate database). Working with Gamemaker has been a bit tricky at times but has allowed us to work very quickly.

just curious: is the GUI (constellations) mapped to quizzes and blogs, etc. within Moodle? If that's the case that is AMAZING. Would love to see the login process from the student's view from start to finish
