News story today that Sony has just patented PS Cloud – http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/sony-patents-ps-cloud – A service to stream digital media!!

For me it has to be Fallout 3. I have completed the game (I’m not sure how many hours but it was alot) and it is just amazing. The world is so big, the karma system is great and VATS is sooooooooooooo cool. In second place is COD5 although personally, and I’m sure this will start a fight, I prefer COD4. Just out of interest if you have played both could you say which you prefer.

I haven’t really given much thought to the games that are coming out next year.

At a guess for 2009 I would say God of War 3 will almost definitely be in my top 5 (assuming it does come out next year). Also Bioshock 2.

Its hard to work out a clear leader though I have played and really enjoyed: Gear of War 2, GTA IV, Braid, Rez (XBLA), LittleBigPlanet, Geometry Wars 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3 (not far through though), Fieldrunners (Iphone), and Spore is worth a mention for the 1st third of the game! I really like the start of Metal Gear Solid IV and Prof Layton, and I’m sure the Lich King has many fans!

For me the top five games are:

1. Geometry Wars 2
2. LittleBigPlanet
3. Fable 2
4. Gear of War 2
5. Fallout 3

Perhaps another question is …. what is going to be the big game of 2009!!!

God of War PS3?
Resident Evil 5?
Pro Evo 2010
Halo blah!
Starcraft 2 wooo!
Zelda reinvents himself again!
Mario and Sonic go back to basics?
iPhone – uPhone?
Wii fitter?
